Panto 2023 Auditions
This year we will be telling the tale of Snow White written by Harvey Johnson and Daniel Shilling. The show runs from 20th December - 23rd December 2023.
Auditions will take place on Saturday 29th July 2023 at the STAMP Studios.
We are looking for a talented cast of individuals to take part in our 2023 Panto of Snow White.
This year we have two audition types.
- General Auditions - for those wishing to audition for a named part in the show
- Dancer Only Auditions - for those wishing to take part in a dancer only role in the show
General Auditions
Ages 13+ We have 17 Principal Roles available and 2 other speaking roles in the show.
- Snow White - Loveable, steadfast girl. Longs for a perfect life. A strong signing role.
- Prince Harry of Meganville - The Prince of a faraway land. A classic, strong, heroic, thigh-slapping prince who is looking for love in Snow White. A strong singing role.
- Notso Sharp - Not the brightest of people. The Evil Queen’s Handyman. Really fancies Snow White.
- Madelyn The Mirror - Ex-Queen of the land and Snow White’s real mother. Will be played both on a screen, and in person.
- Fairy Fanny - Our storyteller who speaks in rhyme. Always enters SR.
- Queen’s Guard Gary - The Queen’s Head Guard. Brother to Barry and Larry.
- Queen’s Guard Barry - The Queen’s Guard Number 2. Brother to Gary and Larry.
- Queen’s Guard Larry - The Queen’s Guard Number 3. Brother to Gary and Barry. Idiotic and doesn’t have a clue.
- Happy - This one’s obvious. Leader of the Dwarfs.
- Silly - Very immature.
- Dopey - No idea what’s going on. Yorkshire accent required.
- Sleepy - Never listens, needs nudged to speak.
- Drinky - A coffee barista who doesn’t shut up about discounts and loyalty deals.
- Sneezy - Keeps asking for antihistamines.
- Keith - Nothing like the rest of the dwarfs, a fully grown man with a very geordie accent.
- Villager One and Two - One line each.
Please prepare the script for your chosen character and one accompanying song that shows your vocal range.

Dancer Only Auditions
Ages 8 - 16 - New members only.
We are holding an open dance audition to cast two teams of dancers in our amateur Christmas Pantomime Snow White. Rehearsals - select Mondays and Tuesdays from 2nd October 2023. Further dates to be announced.
To ensure a smooth and organised audition process, interested participants must book their place in advance. Please note that walk-in auditions will not be accepted. The auditions will be held promptly from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, so we kindly request all participants to arrive a few minutes early to register and warm up.
Parents or guardians are welcome to accompany their child to the auditions but will be requested to wait in a designated area until the audition is over. This will allow the dancers to focus and perform to the best of their abilities.
Selected dancers will join the cast of Snow White the Panto, bringing the timeless tale to life with their exceptional talent and energy. Rehearsal schedules, performance dates, and other important details will be discussed with the chosen dancers and their parents or guardians following the auditions.

**Please note there is a requirement to become a temporary member of STAMP to take part in this production as a dancer. This carries a flat fee of £60 for the entire production, per person, payable if successful at audition. **
Limited places are available, so we encourage interested participants to book early to avoid disappointment.
